Campaign did not run due to app downtime

The situation.

Mr D wanted International Burger Day to cut through daily promotional noise with personalised offers. The public case study focuses on smart segmentation, respectful handling of diverse South African names and robust content filtering.

What Fuse built

01

Designed name-processing logic for South African naming conventions

02

Built content filtering and fallback personalisation

03

Designed personalised Burger Day messaging and segmented push delivery

04

Created a reusable framework for future food-celebration campaigns

What changed

The campaign did not run because of technical app downtime during the planned activation period. The published case study is explicit about that. The reusable output was the culturally-aware name-processing and personalisation framework, which the case study says handled 95%+ of South African name variations.

Fuse take

Proof should include what did not work. The activation missed its moment, but the reusable personalisation capability survived it. That is a more useful lesson than pretending every piece of work ends in a conversion chart.
